Our goal is simple: present those items well, reach motivated buyers, and handle the process clearly from start to finish.

We are locally owned and focused on Fluvanna County and the surrounding areas. All auctions are conducted online with local buyer pickup only. That keeps things efficient, transparent, and rooted in the community.

Rivanna Auction Co. was founded by David, who spent years managing tasting room and event operations for a respected local distillery. That role required organization, customer communication, event logistics, inventory management, and building long-term relationships.

After years of working with visitors, collectors, and local residents, he saw a need for a calmer option for downsizing, consignment, and curated estate auctions. Something more structured than a yard sale, but less overwhelming than a traditional estate liquidation.
